藏品概述：咸豐重寶為大清咸豐年間鑄造的一批貨幣，流傳時(shí)間較短，五十及以下計(jì)值稱為“咸豐重寶”，當(dāng)五十計(jì)值稱為“咸豐元寶”，以區(qū)別于小平錢“咸豐通寶”。咸豐重寶當(dāng)十錢由于鑄造時(shí)間早,發(fā)行時(shí)間短，所以也是自古以來(lái)古泉愛好者關(guān)心并致力于收藏和欣賞的計(jì)值錢幣。在諸多咸豐大錢之中，應(yīng)當(dāng)推舉咸豐重寶當(dāng)十錢幣為。鑄期短、數(shù)量少、無(wú)一不在咸豐大錢中占據(jù)。自咸豐三年起，寶泉、源、直、鞏、濟(jì)、等錢局均先后鑄造咸豐當(dāng)錢，并投入市場(chǎng)與小平錢同時(shí)流通。各個(gè)錢局均有大量不同版別，不同形式，甚至不同材質(zhì)，不同大小的當(dāng)十計(jì)值重寶，此枚咸豐重寶為云南省東川局造。

藏品歷史背景：光緒元寶是清朝光緒年間流通的貨幣之一。由湖北兩廣總督張之洞率先引進(jìn)英國(guó)鑄幣機(jī)器鑄造銀元和銅元，之后各省紛紛仿效。共有十九個(gè)省局鑄造，除中央戶部，地方省所鑄銀元，皆在其正面上緣鐫寫省名。光緒元寶是中國(guó)歷史上枚全國(guó)范圍內(nèi)發(fā)行的機(jī)制貨幣，但由于晚清時(shí)期政權(quán)更迭，一個(gè)朝代消亡過后，新的統(tǒng)治都會(huì)將前朝的貨幣回收熔化重新鑄造本朝錢幣，故留存至今的光緒元寶十分少見。
